Court grew up in Wheaton, IL and attended Wheaton College.  He was brought up in a family homebuilding business where he began working full-time following college graduation. Court and his wife Kim have known each other since they were in grade school.  They have been married since 1992 and have two amazing daughters, Mackenzie and Lily.

Court and Kim moved to Alexandria, Virginia after their honeymoon without jobs, but with a lot of enthusiasm.  They spent seven years in the Washington, DC area while Kim worked in public relations and Court started a homebuilding business.  They both love the beach, the water, and traveling and had a great time exploring the Chesapeake Bay, the Delaware shore and all the east coast had to offer. They moved back to Illinois in 1999 where Court rejoined the family building business.

They currently live in Hinsdale and enjoy its small town feel. They chose Oak Community Church because they were looking for a neighborhood church where their kids could enjoy Christian programs and see their church friends in the local schools.

Court became a Christian at a young age.  He has been strongly influenced by his parents and several Christian teachers.  As he continues on his journey of faith, Court relies on God's leading and fellow Christians he has chosen to put in my path.  One of God's strongest influences currently in his life is a small men's group he meets with on Friday mornings.  These fellow Christians profoundly encourage and challenge Court in his faith.
