The Oak Kids Christmas Musical has become an exciting tradition here at Oak. Children in grades 1-5 from the church and the community join together to form the cast and choir of a fun-filled and heartwarming Christmas musical.
Everyone is invited to join the choir, and each child is given the opportunity to try out for solos or speaking parts. For kids in 4th and 5th grade who are not interested in singing and acting, we are adding a "crew" option this year. Crew members will participate in all parts of the club except they will work on creating the costumes, the set, posters, and anything else behind the scenes instead of being in the choir or the cast.
The Musical: "The Tale of Three Trees"
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, from 4 - 6 pm, beginning on October 7
Rehearsal Location: Oak Community Church, 620 N. Oak Street, Hinsdale
Performance: December 6 and 7 at 7:00 pm
Registration Cost: $30 for the first child and $15 for each additional child in the same family.
