The Oak Mission Team
We believe that God has a message of hope and love for every person in the world. We also believe that God has given us the job of getting that wonderful message out to everyone. As a result, Oak is excited to take whatever steps we can to go wherever we need to go and do whatever needs to be done to share the good news found in this message.
Here are the exciting opportunities we want to offer everyone at Oak. On a regular basis the Oak Mission Team will
- 1. co-ordinates service opportunities here in the Chicago-land area
- 2. provides the logistics to get teams from Oak to other parts of the globe in order to work short term (1 to 2 weeks) with pastors and/or missionaries overseas
- 3. evaluate, encourage and support those who sense God's call to leave Oak in order to serve in the US or on the foreign mission field on a full time basis.
In addition, the Oak Mission Team will keep the amazing information flowing between Oak and each of our nearly 20 global missionaries .
As you can see the Oak Mission Team wants to make it possible for you to see God's message of hope and love through Jesus Christ transform lives locally and globally, in short, glocally.
