A dream that has been growing in me has been to take small groups of men on spiritual retreats to remote places. I long, together with a few other men, to spend time to develop "depth of soul". It seems to me that there is a growing hunger in many men for something more, something deeper in their Christian life. I believe this "Holy hunger" is from God, so lets get away and listen to what He is saying.
My first retreat was in October. The TEAM Czech guys agreed to be my guinea pigs. I found real cheap tickets from Prague to Sweden and also found a remote cabin on a lake in Sweden. I think it was a good beginning. It was a time for each of us to "be still and know that I am God".
I am planning a retreat for a few guys in mid-November and then again in January. Please pray that we would indeed hear and discern what God desires.
